Stephanie ("Stevie") Tassos Wohlsifer

Stephanie ("Stevie") Tassos Wohlsifer is an accomplished performer and teacher in voice and piano with a strong background in several music genres including jazz, R&B, gospel, rock, and country.

​

Stevie received a Bachelor of Music from Manhattanville College, Purchase, NY in 1974 where she majored in theory and piano.

​

In 1995, she earned a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Florida International University, Miami, FL after receiving a research scholarship from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) to study the effects of natural and man-made water pollutants on public health and the environment.

She began offering music therapy services through KeepSafe Music after receiving her Music Therapy Equivalency from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL

​

In addition to her teaching and therapy practice, she performs regularly as a solo and with other performers in the Tampa Bay area.
